This privacy policy applies to the Crest Security Review magazine native apps available in the Google and Apple Play stores.

User Authentication

The Crest Security Review (CSR) native apps use the Google Firebase service to manage user authentication and notifications.  CSR does not store any passwords used to sign up to the app or website.

You can read the Firebase Privacy and Security policy here.

If you choose to sign in to the app or website then Firebase provides CSR with a unique user ID (uid) which is used to synchronise bookmarked content between the website and app. We do not use this uid for any other purpose.

CSR will also have access to your email address if you use it to sign in. If you use the Facebook authentication when signing in you have the option to not provide your email address.

Deleting your data

The apps allow you to delete your account which will remove any personally identifiable data that Crest has access to (ie your email address if you have provided it).

We are happy to assist in deleting your account if you are unable to. Please contact us directly.
